Archdiocese of Chicago Food Service Program

Hot lunches will be served to participating students beginning September 7th. The Archdiocese Food Service Program provides nutritious hot meals for the students each school day. Students are served lunch each day in their classroom during the lunch break from 11:30am to 11:50am.

Families have the option of purchasing lunch for full price, applying for a reduced priced lunch or applying for free lunch (depending upon the family income and the government income guidelines).

Applications for free and reduced priced lunch are included in your August Parent Pack. If your child is not receiving a hot lunch, he/she is to bring a bag lunch to school. Milk can be purchased monthly through the Food Service Program. Menus will be sent home each month.

In order to apply for free or reduced priced lunch, parents must fill out an application form (which is kept confidential) and return the form to Sister Marion. Income guidelines must be met to apply for free or reduced priced lunch.

Students paying full price and reduced price for lunch are billed every two months. Two weeks notice must be given to Sister Marion if you wish to cancel hot lunches for your children.
