St. Catherine-St. Lucy prides itself on providing opportunities to enrich each student's experience. From sports and fine arts to community service, choir, and campus ministry, our children benefit from many opportunities beyond the classroom.
Community Gardening Project
The community gardening project led by the Collaboration for Early Childhood aims to provide children with hands-on learning experiences through gardening. Click here to learn more.
National Junior Honor Society
SCSL is a recognized member of the National Junior Honor Society. Students apply in their 7th and/or 8th grade. Admittance is based on scholarship, leadership, character, and service qualities.
Student Ambassador Program
The Student Ambassador Program was established during the 2023-2024 school year. SCSL student leaders serve as student ambassadors, representing the school and giving tours to prospective families.
Student Council
Student Council at St. Catherine-St. Lucy empowers students to develop leadership skills, represent their peers, and contribute to school events.
Chess Club
Chess Club at St. Catherine-St. Lucy engages students in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and friendly competition to enhance their critical thinking skills.
Girls' Basketball
Our SCSL Lady Wildcats have gone to several championships within the last couple of years.
Boys' Basketball
The boys' basketball team is led by Coach Rogers. In February 2024, our Varsity Boys basketball team took 1st place at the JHE Showcase held at Christ the King High School! ​In November 2023, our 8th grade boys placed second at the OPRF Village Basketball Tournament.
Choir
Our choir is a big part of our special liturgies at church. From grades 4 through 8, our students enhance our school with beautiful Gospel music and share their talents with nearby nursing home residents. Our Wildcats Choir is led by Mrs. Laughlin, SCSL's Choir Director.
Cheerleading
Cheerleading at St. Catherine-St. Lucy builds school spirit, teamwork, and confidence as students learn routines and perform at sporting events.
Community Service
Community Service at St. Catherine-St. Lucy instills a commitment to helping others, fostering empathy, leadership, and a sense of responsibility through meaningful volunteer activities.
