St. Catherine-St. Lucy School introduces our Early Learning Academy, a groundbreaking educational program specially designed for our 3- and 4-year-olds at SCSL School.

EARLY LEARNING ACADEMY

Child-centered and project-based innovative learning approach
Individualized instruction tailored to each child's unique needs and pace based on academic and social-emotional readiness rather than traditional grade levels
Academic-focused small group learning provides a nurturing, stimulating, and supportive environment

CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CCAP)

State-funded program that covers a portion of tuition (up to 5 years old) and daycare costs (up to 13 years old)
SCSL welcomes and accepts CCAP for financial assistance
Families must apply and cost-sharing is based on family size and income

Develop crucial social, motor, emotional, verbal, and early writing skills while building self-esteem
Empowers students to reach their full potential and establish a strong foundation for our whole school's personalized learning focus
Build friendships, practice imaginative play, learn to take turns, and understand emotions

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Typical day: Art, playroom, recess, maker's mark space, reading time, curriculum-based learning centers, and circle time
Specials: Gym, library, yoga, technology, music, and religion
Lunch: Served at 11:30 am
Nap: 12:00 pm – 1:50 pm
Dismissal: 2:20 pm
Learning Focus: ABCs, shape, color, and number recognition, object identification, circle time, days of the week, and finger play
