Hello, my name is Mr. Fred Rogers and I am the 6th grade teacher and Jr High Science teacher at St. Catherine-St. Lucy School. I am also the Athletic Director. Additionally, I have three wonderful sons who are proud students at SCSL, making this community a big part of my family's life.

A bit about me: I have been teaching at St. Catherine-St. Lucy since 2017. I was born and raised in Chicago. I graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and I studied School Safety and Security at New Mexico Tech.

 

My teaching philosophy centers around challenging my students to reach their full potential, both inside and outside the classroom. I believe in fostering not only academic growth but also character development. This is my second year as the 6th-grade teacher, and I'm honored to be part of the SCSL community, where our values are exemplified each day. Together, we aim to instill a love for learning and a commitment to being the best version of ourselves.
