Mrs. Patterson's 4th Grade Classroom

Welcome to Fourth Grade!

Greetings and welcome to the 2023-24 school year. Fourth grade is a fun and exciting time! We read novels and learn different ways to analyze a story in Reading. In Math, we'll be learning about fractions and decimals. We will learn about the different regions of the United States in Social Studies. And we'll be classifying animals and doing lots of experiments in Science! All this and we have 2 leopard-spotted geckos that live in our classroom.

I am looking forward to this year and cannot wait to share with you all our accomplishments.

A little about me...

I graduated from Benedictine University in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am currently working on my Master's Degree. I have been teaching at St. Catherine-St. Lucy for over 10 years. This is the first and only school I have taught at! In addition, I have been married for 25 years and have 4 children who range in age from 24 to 17.
